Equipment Teardown Specialist
Worthington Tractor Parts, Inc. is looking for an individual with mechanical ability (or general mechanical knowledge) and some farm equipment knowledge to pull parts off equipment at our St. Johns, MI location. This individual must understand and carry out verbal instructions, pay attention to detail, use a forklift, and understand safety procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prep salvage on yard when received
- Remove parts off equipment (tractors, combines, cotton pickers, etc.)
- Pick up yard and organize
- Dismantle tires off rims
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, tele-handlers, and pay-loaders
- Work from heights and climb ladders to lift equipment off/on shelving
- Must be able to manually lift, squat, carry, push and pull parts
- Unloading and loading equipment
- Sweeping, cleaning the shop
- Other duties as assigned
